Ubuntu. I am because we are.

“We can change the world and make it a better place. It is in your hands to make a difference.”
    (Nelson Mandela)

In the year of the centenary of Nelson Mandela’s birth the “150 posters for solidarity project” intends to pursue one of his favorite themes: the defense of civil rights and solidarity.
“Ubuntu is a South African word of the Buntu people - explains the curator Armando Milani - often used by Mandela in his speeches on brotherhood and peace. It means humanity towards others, dialogue, sharing, respect and tolerance. The desire to convey, through the language of graphic design, this sense of brotherhood led me to invite professional designers, students and children from all over the world to realize a poster inspired by the word Ubuntu”.
